My Story
From the Boardroom to the Coaching Room
I started my career as a software engineer in Bengaluru, India, writing lines of code and dreaming of building things that mattered. Over the next two decades, that journey took me across continents — from enterprise solution consulting at Oracle, to leading global delivery programmes for Fortune 500 companies, to managing multi-million-dollar client portfolios as a Director at some of the world's most respected technology firms.
Along the way, I noticed something that no amount of technical skill could fix: brilliant people struggling to navigate the human side of corporate life. I watched talented engineers miss promotions because they couldn't communicate their value. I saw high-potential managers plateau because they hadn't learned to lead with influence. I met ambitious graduates who had the degrees but not the unwritten knowledge of how organisations really work.
That realisation — that the gap between potential and success is almost never technical — is what led me to found Devi Academy. I built the coaching programmes I wished had existed when I was navigating my own corporate climb. Everything I teach, I have lived.

Coaching, to me, is not about telling people what to do. It is about helping them see what they are already capable of — and giving them the tools, frameworks, and honest feedback to close the gap between where they are and where they deserve to be.
After two decades of leading teams across North America, EMEA, APAC, and South Asia — coaching delivery managers, mentoring early-career engineers, and advising C-level executives — I have developed a deeply practical, no-nonsense approach to professional development.
